Building an exceptional team or institution starts with a founder. But being a founder doesn’t mean starting a new company. It is within anyone’s grasp to be the founder and culture-creator of their own team. Founder of a Team, Family or Culture.

You must first choose whether you want to be a founder or an employee. It’s not a question of literal ownership. It’s a question of attitude.

Choose to think of yourself as a founder. Now act like one. Think about what stories people will tell about you, your work, your team. Today you have the opportunity to become the architect of that story. To choose whether you want to be a founder or an employee.
